The box is safe. The fairway is safe. But does safe get you what you want, and to the success you desire?

I, Brian Hurlburt, recently left a well-paying job as Publisher of VegasGolfer Magazine to pursue a few different, new projects, one of which is Business Under Par: Success Through Golf. During thisthe pursuit of "new", I have had conversations with many people and business leaders. It seems everyone is looking for new ideas, new angles and new takes on old ideas, old angles and old takes. At the root of it all, the same challenges will face us and the world, but new ways of looking at them will be needed.

So, we have coined the term, "Think outside the fairway" as a new way to say think outside the box. The fairway is safe, just like the box, but who knows what opportunties are out there if you hit it a little longer and on the first cut of the fairway? Could you reach in two? Do you have a better angle to the pin?
